FAQ

Is the file sent to a server?
Yes — converting PDF to Word needs full office libraries (LibreOffice) that are impractical in the browser (~200 MB). The file is sent over HTTPS and deleted immediately after processing. Nothing is stored.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 50 MB.
Which PDFs are supported?
Standard text and mixed PDFs. Scanned documents (images without a text layer) convert but their text is not editable — that requires OCR. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
Is formatting preserved?
Basic formatting, tables and images carry over. Complex layouts with columns or unusual fonts may convert with deviations — that is a LibreOffice limitation, not ours.
Is registration required?
No, sign-up is not required. The tool is completely free.
What if the conversion fails?
Try another PDF. The cause is usually a damaged file or an unusual structure. If the problem persists, drop us a line.
